Mindscapes is a series of 25 collages made as part of a research on Aby Warburg's Mnemosyne Atlas. They explore the notions of memory, time (therefore the loss of it) and origins.
Each one puts together, intuitively, works of artists from different periods, resulting in anachronism.
It is a personal/ intimate collection of images.
Featuring works from, among others: Hubert Robert, Gerhard Richter, Jean-Louis Gerôme, Caspar David Friedrich, Nicola Samori, Mübin Orhon, Bruce Conner, Michaël Borremans, Piranesi, Vladimir Veličković, William Turner, Erol Akyavaş, Andreï Zviaguintsev, Baltus, Anderi Tarkovski, Jannis Kounellis, Johann Heinrich Füssli, Sergiu Toma, Laurenz Berges, Eugène Delacroix.
